Teaching with Technology 3

Technology plays a vital role in generating testing hypotheses because  new development in probeware and interactive applets allow students to spend more time interpreting  the data rather than gathering the data-a process that can be tedious and error prone.  When students generate and test hypotheses, they are engaging in complex mental processes, applying content knowledge like facts and vocabulary, and enhancing their overall understanding of the content. I have noticed this approach to instructural strategies in my own classroom helps the student  gain a better understanding of the concept. It is a higher level of thinking, which keeps them engaged and wanting to learn.
