My Digital Story

I chose to do my digital story on my educational path that lead me to becoming a teacher.  It took a long time to come up with a topic because there are so many things close to my heart. Education is a the top of the list. The journey is quite interesting and entertaining. I really enjoy what I do as an educator and I am seeking knowledge to pass on to others.  The assignment requirements were specific on the amount of time allowed, so I had to shorten it. However, I felt a person viewing the video will get my point.

This week's assignment also required the students to use ISTE Tech Coaching Standards and TEA TEKS for 8th grade. This assignment met all the standards. For instance according to TEA TEKS, expects students to  uses creative thinking and innovative processes to construct knowledge, generate new ideas, and create products by identify, create, and use files in various formats such as text, raster and vector graphics, video, and audio files;  create original works as a means of personal or group expression; explore complex systems or issues using models, simulations, and new technologies to make predictions, modify input, and review results; and discuss trends and possible outcomes. We were able to do all those and more my creating a personal digital story.
