This Research course was very intimidating in the beginning. What I had in mind was completely was wrong. This class has facilitated in providing me with a worth of knowledge and different perceptions on education. The lectures were very useful and helpful. The professor gave great examples on action research plans. The required readings were so-what boring, but informative. Each week assignments were definitely exercising my brain, so I had to do e-searches in order to get a better understanding on the topic. The discussion board conversations were an amazing way to share my thoughts and actions with others. I like to blog my updates and share my experiences. It gave huge amounts of information and guidance on my action research process. This class has provided me with the skills to continue my action research plan and lifelong learning. It has also given me the opportunity to gain professional development hours that I would not have been able to do because of my teaching position. I am truly grateful for that. I can honestly say that in the future I will feel confident in conducting some sort of research project.
