Operation Update

My action research project has been analyzing SPED (Special Education) students using a Classroom Performance System (CPS) in Math and Science. My campus has implemented Clickers in most of the Math classes and iPads in the Science classes. The purpose of my research is to find out why the Special Education (SPED) students are failing the DBAs or scoring low.
The beginning of  this year school has had many changes in staff and curriculum. We have  new teachers and several new Academic Lead Teachers (ALT). The Math teachers are not currently using the clickers and Science have decided to use a web-based instruction program, so the students are not using the iPads.
These sudden changes has left some of the staff in disarray. I have not had to time to meet with the ALTs  to discuss my research project. I have decided to only research the Math department using the CPS. I will discontinue my research on iPad in the Science classes. I have not decided on the grade level.
I have several task I need complete before I can move into the final stages of the project. For example, I will need to meet with the ALTs after the first grading period to discuss my Action Plan and how they can assist in implementing technology in the classrooms. I will  need to meet with the campus technologist to insure the clickers are working. I will also need to meet with the SPED ALT for the number of SPED students in each grade. I plan to continue my Action Research Plan sometime after the first grade period.
